Gary holds a BA in Music from Oakland University where he studied mime, theater and music. Some of his many roles include Jesus in “Jesus Christ Superstar”, George Burger in “Hair” and even Humpty Dumpty and Oedipus Rex. He has appeared in over 25 shows throughout the country and had the honor of performing for the Grand Kabuki of Japan. He has also performed at the White House, the US Open Tennis Tournament and the Tournament of Roses Parade. In addition he co-authored and composed the music for “Jeririgg”, a mime show that took national honors at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
As president of DeVar Creative, Inc. Gary has been providing creative presentation services in the diverse worlds of trade shows and sales meetings for a host of industries, helping companies with script writing and revisions, reconceptualizing, demonstration and presentation coaching.
